PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES OF TEACHERS

In-District
Lectures, demonstrations, or related activities performed by teachers within the district are a valuable service to the community and are encouraged by the Board.
Out-of-District
The Board encourages participation in professional and related activities. Arrangements for attendance and/or participation in such activities shall be cleared with the administration in advance.

When a staff member is invited to speak, serve on a panel or similar assignment, all costs shall be borne by the organization sponsoring the event, unless other arrangements are approved by the Superintendent, upon consultation with the Principal.
